Book Arun For Your Next Event!
Are you hosting an event where your participants would relish the opportunity to be inspired by how to embody the living philosophy of nonviolence? Do you have a group in need of practical lessons for transforming anger into good or finding ways to plant the seeds of peace in their own families, communities, or organizations? Arun Gandhi, fifth grandson of the world-renowned Mohandas K. “Mahatma” Gandhi, had the unique opportunity of living with his grandfather for the two years preceding his grandfather’s assassination. Arun’s formative early teenage years were transformed by the loving non-violent compassion and life lessons Bapuji imparted to him as a then tumultuously behaved youth. Inspiring a life dedicated to the works of socio-political activity and the propagation of Gandhian principles, Arun has tirelessly worked as a journalist, lecturer, author, philanthropist, educator and speaker to ensure that his grandfather’s values and principles do not recede from the world’s stage. As such, you will frequently find Arun visiting and speaking at events hosted across the globe for community organizations, NGOs, charities, universities, prisons, business corporations, government agencies, the United Nations, and more.
Arun may be retained to give keynote addresses, lectures and workshops, as well as participating in both symposia and panel events. Sample topics for which Arun has presented over the course of his engagements include, but are not limited to:
- Lessons Learned from my Grandfather: Nonviolence in a Violent World
- How to Be the Change You Wish to See in the World
- Why Racism Still Plagues the U.S.: Where Did We Go Wrong
- Gandhi and King Shared a Dream: Has It Become Irrelevant?
- Is Peace Possible in a Culture of Violence?
- Activism on Campus
